Tasted at Troegs with ML. Pours clear gold with yellow head. Aroma is lemon, orange, pine, and grass. Flavour is hoppy as expected with a light body, but there are some sweet malts in the background to reign it in. Nice "imperial" pale ale.

Really solid tasting with slightly bitter aftertaste that does not longer too long. It's not the smoothest but at 7.5% alcohol, the slight edge is sanded off in the first few sips.

Troegs products are always good. The perpetual is has an interesting gear and hop bottle and tastes like a classic IPA.

Bottle to glass. Amber color and medium head. Nose of floral, grass, citrus, pine and a bit of skunky. Really taste the pine and some citrus fruits. Easy on the tongue and overall well balanced brew.

nearbeer (3586) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - APR 12, 2014
12 oz. can. Clear orange-golden with a lasting disc of widely varying bubble sizes. Smells of zesty citrus, fresh toasted grain and some honey-floral notes that almost seem to have some heather pollen. Tastes of caramel, resin, spicy pollen, grapefruit zest and more tropical fruit notes. Long finish is a bit rough with wooden hops and more alcohol than expected for 7.5%, but not so much to make this a disaster. Medium body has smooth, low-medium carbonation and is to the dry side.
