Poured a hazy gold with a tall creamy off-white head. There was a pine and tangerine aroma. The beer had a slightly silky texture and a predominately pine resin flavor and good bitterness. Towards the middle the bitterness remained, but a nice roasted caramel malt flavor and sweetness mellowed it out some. The pine hops bite and flavor remain well into the finish with the nice underneath malt flavor fading it away slowly. There was a nice amount of sticky lacing throughout the glass as well. Enjoyed this one very much.

Light for an imperial. Well defined head that lasts. Enough hop to satisfy but not overpower.

Tap. Pours mostly clear dark gold with thin, creamy white head; short retention and spare lacing. Aroma is oranges, citrus, caramel and cookie malts, grassy and floral hops, light pine, and faint spice. Flavor is smooth hops forward (medium bitterness) with good supporting citrus esters and sweet malts; dry finish. Medium body, low carbonation, and medium warmth.

Thanks to Tom for this. Not an overpowering IPA but a very drinkable one for the size. Pours a hazy light straw gold with a quickly disappearing white top. Aroma is floral and citrus hops with a slight orange zest. Taste is a slow floral hop bitterness the builds. It’s cut somewhat with the sweet malts that are slightly bready. Really nice IPA.

Very nice. On the pine side of big IPAs rather than citrus. Lovely and complex and really very drinkable. A lovely beverage.

12 oz draft.
Pours a bright, clear, pale orange copper with a very thick, creamy, white head. Smell is dank herbal hops, candied orange peel, and a bit of caramel. Starts off with a big dose of citric and grassy hops slowly giving way to a mix of lightly toasted caramel malt, pine, and even more hop oils. The finish has lots of hop bitterness and some lasting dryness. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

Pours a clear yellow with slight amber hue and thin white head. Smell is predominately resiny, piney hops. Tastes much the same with slight caramel backbone. Medium carbonation, medium bodied. Solid beer if you like resiny hops.

Bottle poured a hazy golden with orange hues, a medium tan head, and notable lacing. Aroma includes floral and resin hops, orange zest, grapefruit, and caramel malt. Taste is dominated by hop bitterness with hints of citrus and malt. Smooth finish with palatablle bitterness lingering.

Look: A nice shade of gold with white lacing, this is an east coast beer right? This is what fantastic smells like. Tropical fruits, mango fused with pineapple, hop resin, dank! This tastes like a typical west coast IPA, I am not complaining. Lemon zest, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, resin, enough cracker malt to sweetend the hops. Nice long hop bitter finish. This to me is an Imperial Summer Ale. 7.5% well hidden, medium to light mouthfeel and refreshing. This gets two glasses up.
