UPDATED: SEP 19, 2012 22oz bottle shared with garthicus. Pale amber-tinged gold with a large frothy white head. Mild aroma - pungent catty resin bitterness with light grain. Taste is pungent and very grainy - simple, good bitterness. Average body, good astringency, I don’t know what the hell I’m talking about but I like it. Re-rated September 18, 2012 - on draught at Blue Monk; fantastic aroma, better appearance and overall - original rating 7+3+7+3+15=3.5

Bomber from the Perfect Pour, Elkridge. Vibrant pale orange pour, with a handsome brimming carbonation. Nose is quite fruity but not excessively sweet by any means; rather, understated in a way that complements the dry notes that come out more fully in the taste. Moderately lively mouthfeel, with a bit of spice in the finish. Malts there for balance, but overall this is well done DIPA - light, clean, dry, and fruity.

UPDATED: JUL 15, 2012 On tap at Jake’s in Flemington NJ. Pours clear golden, frothy head in the pint as the bartender works to get me a full pin. Fresh, crisp in-yer-face hop aroma is more citrus than pine. Think grapefruit, quite refreshing after a long day in the sun. Too bitter to be a session beer but a fine treat for hop lovers.

Bottle [660ml]. Pours a slightly hazy, quite bubbly, orange-copper with a large lasting frothy white head. Aroma of pale malt, floral hops, citrus hops, herbs and citrus fruit -- nice. Flavour is mostly citrus hops with sweet malt backing it up, fruity and herbal as well. Dry, bitter finish. Alcohol is pretty well hidden. Medium bodied. Pretty good IPA, no problem polishing this bomber. -- Rated via Beer Buddy.

Aroma is of grapefruit and straw. Pours a golden yellow with thin bubbly white head. Taste is intense start to finish. Huge grapefruit flavor. Unrelenting actually. It tastes even more like grapefruit in the linger. Crisp in the finish and lightly malted. The higher ABV is masked by the lower maltiness and bitterness. Dial down the bitter just a tad and you gave a winner as it stands it takes a little effort to muscle through the pint. Supposedly IBUs in the 80s according to sources here at the brewery.
