COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Perpetual IPA (Imperial Pale Ale, not India Pale Ale). In our constant evolution as a brewery, we’ve developed a drive to meld artisanal and mechanical. Perpetual IPA utilizes our hopback and dry-hopping to engineer a bold Imperial Pale Ale. We’re always testing the boundaries of modern brewing.

Tap at mellow mushroom. Pours golden Like a lighter beer. Citrus fresh nose and medium heavy carbonation. Light white thin head. Bitter light mouthfeel. Citrus hop burst upfront and some off balanced sweetness to follow. A strange imperial ipa with little alcohol taste. Seems like a lighter beer but still tasty. Little floral taste which can be a positive. ---Rated via my mouth

Tap. Light hazy golden, offwhite creamy lace. Fine citric hop nose. Full chewy body, lightly carbonated. Fruity base, lemonpeel and with substance like a key lime pie. Light leafy aftertaste. Nice.

Pours from 12 oz bottle a light, golden hue, forming small white head of foam that quickly dispersed. Aroma of mostly citrusy hops, grapefruit, tropical fruits, orange peel, along with some pine hops and bready grain like malt. Flavour much of the same really. Definitely not a hop bomb, but very hop flavor forward and very refreshing.

This is a nice citrus ipa. Not overly bitter. But I can’t see I can make it one of the best IPAs out there. Nice sweetness. Decent mouthfeel, could be a bit better. Nice citrus grapefruit aroma. Nice lasting head as well.

Draft @ Rustico; fantastic authentic cask ale pour; golden yellow body with long-lasting head; beautiful floral hoo nose; silky smooth drink ability with solid malt sweetness balanced by a surprisingly not-over-the-top hop finish (and a somewhat high ABV); this is an Imperial (not India) Pale Ale. Love it! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from City Swiggers, New York, NY. A light golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Grapefruit, citrus, tropical fruit aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, grapefruit, tropical fruit, nicely bitter. Very nice complex IPA.

Pours a light, clear gold with thin white head. Great nose - floral, citrus. Taste is not quite as interesting - but still good. Some citrus up front but the bitter hops kick in quickly and linger. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Hazy, golden honey color. Thick, foamy, white head; a lot of lacing. Hoppy, floral aroma with grapefruit. Malty caramel up front balanced by grapefruity hoppiness. Bitter, resin finish. Excellent overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

BOD 8/19/14. Clear golden pour with a normal head. Excellent lacing, normal retention. Nose of tropical and citrus hops, with some pine in the background, over a light biscuit. Light medium body with a nice slick texture. Slightly above normal carbonation with a nice bit of effervescence on the finish. The excellent flavor profile is complex and a masterpiece of balance. It begins with a balanced blend of hop flavors that flow into a moderate bitterness, that has a spicy note, over a slightly sweet biscuit background. The middle is where the flavor components fade with the alcohol completely hidden. The finish effervesces nicely and leaves you with a nice slightly spicy pine bitterness that flows into grapefruit rind. Outstanding!!

Pours a golden orange with a one finger white head with nice lacing. Aroma is citrus, pine, tropical fruits, peach, sweet malts, and some light bready malts. Taste is similar the aroma. Has a medium body with a semi creamy, moderately bitter, slighty dry, medium-long finish. Overall, a tasty, pretty complex ipa, that tastes like it was brewed in San Diego.
