COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Perpetual IPA (Imperial Pale Ale, not India Pale Ale). In our constant evolution as a brewery, we’ve developed a drive to meld artisanal and mechanical. Perpetual IPA utilizes our hopback and dry-hopping to engineer a bold Imperial Pale Ale. We’re always testing the boundaries of modern brewing.

Draught. Hazy golden in color with a whitish head. Fresh grassy and citrus notes in aroma. Feels quite crisp. More leaning to tropical fruity notes tastewise with some additional notes of pine. Sweetish fruity finish.

from Mondial de la Bière, Mulhouse 2013 - pretty clear dark blond beer with a persistent white foam; solid fruity hoppiness of oranges and grapefruit, notes of tea; full-bodied, juicy and with a solid but fair carbonation; solid bitterness, dry and light sticky; long resiney finish with long notes of oranges and melon

Tap at Munich Tap House, 18th February 15. Pretty well balanced IPA, lots of fruit, good bitterness, the malt kicks in, there is a big lingering taste, good and solid IPA

Grapefruit, floral aromatics. Appearance is a crystal clear gold color with a white head. Flavor has notes of floral, grapefruit and piney hops with notes of bread and a light caramel malt flavor. Mouthfeel is medium with medium carbonation. Overall, it's a good ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Good solid ipa. Not a ton of extra flavor but still really tasty. Not my top ipa but not bad.

Pours golden orange and slightly cloudy. Head is white and fades to a minimal rim pretty quickly. No lacing to speak of. Aroma is sweet candy jammy citrus and caramel malts. Taste follows but lacks depth and backend. A bit skunky. What backing there is is slightly dry and bitter. Mediocre and disappointing after the aroma.

Good beer but nothing terribly unique about it - others from this brewery are more distinctive

Great IPA here! Pours golden into the glass, with a nice wispy reductive head that leaves trace (if any) lacing. The nose is classic grapefruit and pine. Flavors are similar, grapefruit and orange citrus, a nice malt backbone, and finishing with a nice dry piney bitter hop. The mouthfeel is playful and semi-active, while also providing a medium-full body and lightly oily palate. Very well-balanced and put together! Excellent example of the style, with evidence of care put into its creation. Superb job!
