COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Perpetual IPA (Imperial Pale Ale, not India Pale Ale). In our constant evolution as a brewery, we’ve developed a drive to meld artisanal and mechanical. Perpetual IPA utilizes our hopback and dry-hopping to engineer a bold Imperial Pale Ale. We’re always testing the boundaries of modern brewing.

Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, moderate hoppy, citrus, riped hops, orange - citrus, light to light moderate yeasty. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, malty, hop bitter, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111216]

Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, citrusy hops, and a bit of straw, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a clear golden with an off-white head. Fresh citrusy hop aroma. Medium body, a very dry fruitiness combined with very dry cirusy hops leaving a solid bitterness. In body I’d say this is closer to an ordinary IPA. 161211

Bottle in my Copenhagen hotel room. Lightly hazy gold beer, good size very pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and crisp. Airy clean pale malt, little sweetness. Light floralness. Bitterish citric peel hops. Grapefruit and orange. Touch of tropical fruits underneath. Floral sweetness before a crisp dry finish. Nice.

Bottle, bought @ Kihoskh, Cph. Pours clear golden with a small, staying, creamy white head. Aroma has fine grassy hops, grapefruit, peach, citrus. Medium carbonation, firm bitterness and light dry mouthfeel. Flavour has firm bitterness, citrus, light peach, mild vinious. Fine balance.
