Perpetual IPA (Imperial Pale Ale, not India Pale Ale). In our constant evolution as a brewery, we’ve developed a drive to meld artisanal and mechanical. Perpetual IPA utilizes our hopback and dry-hopping to engineer a bold Imperial Pale Ale. We’re always testing the boundaries of modern brewing.

Loved it. Not quite clear amber, large white head, good retention, and good lacing. Nose of sweet malts and American PNW hops ... strong notes of grapefruit and note of pine behind. Great mouthfeel. Taste of sweet malts, orange peel bitterness, then sweet melon, then pine, then more bitterness, with a long bitter finish. Great stuff. Bonus point for coming in at a drinkable 7.5% instead of some of the higher numbers on other imperial or double IPAs.

Floral and grassy aroma, clear copper color, head dissipates quickly, medium body thin for imperial but in style for IPA, malt, syrup, banana, lemon flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a nice coppee color with a light off white head. Aroma of pine/citrus. Finishes pretty easily. Not overwhelming on the bitterness of the hops. Medium bodied.

Tap pour at Upstairs. Pour was nearly clear golden with a small head that quickly dissipated, leaving a small foam ring. Aroma of pine and grapefruit matched the initial taste with a pine and a slight tar aftertaste. There was not much taste of hops or a hop bite. Very drinkable IPA.

Nice brew. Best by july. Haven’t had a troegs in a while. Pineapple and mango and pine nose. Lighter color, medium body, equally sweet and bitter. Drinks more like a strong hoppy pale Rahman imperial IPA of that makes sense...

Bottle from my brother. Pretty unassuming pour, gentle aroma, then taste comes on with a bang. Mild astringent piney hops on a nice slick medium weight body. Not huge hoppiness, but super tasty with a near perfect feel.
