COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Perpetual IPA (Imperial Pale Ale, not India Pale Ale). In our constant evolution as a brewery, we’ve developed a drive to meld artisanal and mechanical. Perpetual IPA utilizes our hopback and dry-hopping to engineer a bold Imperial Pale Ale. We’re always testing the boundaries of modern brewing.

Soapy white head with a crystal clear light amber body. This beer is piney. Full, nice hoppy palate. This is a great summer IPA. REALLY fucking good! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, 12oz. A clear, golden beer with a small, white off-head. Piney, resiny aroma with an almost stinging grassy hoppyness. It’s medium to full-bodied, with a soft carbonation and a good amount of bitterness. Pine cones, resins and some grass, with pale malts in the back. Lasting bitter, piney finish with pale malts. Too much on the malty side this one, even though it’s not very malty, and the bitterness feels rather harsh. But decent anyway. 150620

Pours hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus, orange and peach. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long malty, caramel, orange, citrus and peach finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at brewery. Totally acceptable IPA but nothing exciting. Obviously I am spoiled living in Asheville, but I honestly don’t understand the popularity of this place. People were lining up for mediocre in both beer and food. Horrible set up with poor service-- bad experience all around. Beer itself poured a rich orange with a nice white head. All the usual IPA notes- pine, citrus, resin with a medium/heavy slightly sticky mouthfeel. ABV pretty obvious. Somewhat sweet upfront and overly bitter in the finish that lingers. Would not seek this out or go back to brewery. Like Disney World in all the bad ways........

Tap at Garlic Poet in Harrisburg, PA. Gold with minimal head. Mango, musty, granulated sugar and honey. Taste is dry with a resiny bitter aftertaste. Body is heavier with a sticky, soapy feel.

Clear why this is Troegs most popular beer. (If you get a chance to visit their brewery in Hershey PA, do the guided tour). Big pine and citrus aroma. Delicious hoppy taste with a bitter malt finish. Light carbonation so it goes down smooth, which makes it dangerous because that 7.5 can creep up on you. Very good beer.

Poured from bottle golden orange color with a thin white head. Aromas of fresh citrus and pine. Taste is juicy and slightly sweet with citrus and a nice hop bitterness.

Poured from 12 oz bottle into pint glass. Freezer chilled. Big fluffy 3" head is rather slow to dissipate. Some lacing. Nice strong fresh aroma with notes of citrus and pine. Taste is lightly sweet, medium bitter with a crisp finish. Strong hoppy notes of citrus as well as lemon grass and some floral and light spruce. Average carbonation, thin texture and average carbonation. Overall enjoyably refreshing IPA.

Very fragrant with citrus, floral, and candy watermelon prominent. Slightly sweet with mild bittering finish. Clean and balanced level of carbonation. Somewhat delicate, it doesn’t seem to stand up as well with food.
