COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Perpetual IPA (Imperial Pale Ale, not India Pale Ale). In our constant evolution as a brewery, we’ve developed a drive to meld artisanal and mechanical. Perpetual IPA utilizes our hopback and dry-hopping to engineer a bold Imperial Pale Ale. We’re always testing the boundaries of modern brewing.

Bottle to pint glass. Pours a slightly orange yellow with decent head. Pretty basic IPA with a decieving AVB. I’d have to try it on tap before I made my final decision. It just "OK" to me.

bottle. Golden with small head. Big hops and initially a bit sweet with a nice bitter bite. Very light malt lets focus be on the hop flavors. Yum.

Good imperial ipa. Slight aroma of fruit and grass. Slightly hazy golden color, hint of copper. Grapefruit and pine dominate the palate, with a dry finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Great nose with tons of grapefruit. Quite a bit of bitter kick. Too much of a one note hop bomb for my tastes but its true to style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled. Clear gold-yellow pour with a fine white head. Excellent lacing. Aroma is grapefruit hops, biscuity malt. A little bit of hop spiciness. Taste is biscuit malt balanced with a nicely hop bitter finish. Citrusy hops in the aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel. Well balanced IPA. Wonderful hop character. Very citrusy. Bitter without astringency. Conceals the alcohol well. Very drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy from my iPad.

On tap at Village Tavern in North Wales, PA. Pretty bland IIPA, maybe my expectations of Tröegs was too high.
