3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. The pour was a golden straw orange with an average (1-2 finger) white fluffy head that was mostly lasting, finally reducing to a few puddles and a medium collar with some excellent sticky spotty lacing.
The aroma was of floral and citrus hops, grain malts and a sweet yeast with notes of caramel, citrus (grapefruit) and a quite noticeable sweet fruity ester.
The taste was a little bitter-sweet with a hint of caramel and had a mild fruitiness from the onset, and then became quite a bit bitterer and nice and hoppy with a definite citrus peel ending. The flavor lasted a very long time proceeding the swallow with a hoppy bitter taste that was left to linger for quite a while longer.
Mouthfeel was a few shades beyond light in body and was dry in texture with a moderate carbonation.
Overall an extremely well balanced IPA, slightly fruity at the start and pleasurably bitter towards the end with a great drinkability...

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared thanks to Matt! Pours a clear golden orange with fluffy white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma is soapy hops, slight pine. Taste is nice hoppy pine balanced with a nice sweet malt back. Very solid, smooth and drinkable.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle. Filtered orange-tan body. Big foamy, steady white head. Very clean and drinkable for the ABV. Classical NW hops, with a hint of tropical tones undertones..nice hop depth. Big, but not overbearing. Well balanced, well done.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This may be my favorite Pale Ale. Aromatic, not overly bitter, and even a bit juicy. Sessionable, even at 7.5.
