Clear bronze with ruby highlights, fizzy tan head. Mild cocoa powder aroma, sweet and nutty almost like nutella. Leans to the sweeter side, but decent balance, with notes of peanut butter candy, earthy hops and a slightly chocolate finish. Easy drinker!

Location: Pint on tap at tap room
Appearance: Lighter amber brown almost clear. thin head of smaller off white bubbles
Nose: medium roasted malt. Roasted Nut, Coffee and a bitter edge behind it all.
Taste: Hints of roasted nuts. Bitter is the strongest flavor element. Quite different. Hoppy.
Body: Thin to medium. No real texture.
Parting thoughts: A hoppy nut brown ale. The bitter edge was unique. Not bad mind you, just different.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Flight shared with ebone1988 at the brewery. The pour is a dark amber color, strong brown colorings, with a thin light gray ring of head and a couple spots of lace. The aroma is very bitter for being so malty. Lots of bitter malts. Light hop. Little earthiness. The flavor is much of the same. The bitter malt and hop combo makes this drink like an ESB. The mouth feel is thin and watery with hardly any carbonation. Falls right off of the tongue. Aftertaste is bitter malt. Meh.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Growler brought home from brewery.
This was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a nice looking dark brown color with a slim finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated within less than thirty seconds.
Slim stringy lacing roams around the glass.
The smell had a sweet to nutty and slight caramel malt roaming around decently.
The taste was exceptionally sweet through the nutty/caramel maltiness. A super sticky caramel balanced aftertaste leads to the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. A nice sweet sticky carbonation rolls over my tongue.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good English Brown ale that I would have again.
