COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Earlier this year, we introduced an innovative device that would usher in a new era of dry-hopping technology at Tröegs Brewery -- the HopCyclone. This hopped-up Harvest Ale (which shares its namesake with the aforementioned device) begins with plenty of Columbus and Crystal hops for bittering. We then further intensify the hop aroma by adding an abundance of whole flower Mt. Hood hops to our hopback vessel. Finally, we apply a healthy dose of Galaxy and Motueka hops directly to the HopCyclone during dry-hopping to push this beer over the edge. The result is an aggressive IPA-style Harvest Ale with plenty of lip-smacking, juicy hop goodness and a tinge of dry spiciness due to the addition of a small percentage of rye malt. Experience a hop gust of epic proportions with Scratch #111 - HopCyclone Harvest Ale!

Growler at WF Bills. Poured clearish orange with light head and lace. Aroma is a bit rusty with citrus, bubblegum and galaxy coming through. Taste is the same with grass and piney hops rounding it out. Light to medium body. Bitter hoppy finish. Decent, but not great.

Has a nice citrus aroma with a golden amber body and small white head. Goes down smooth with a bitterness.

Clear orange in color with a thin white head. Nice drippy lacing. Indeed a hop bomb! Really fresh pine scented hops. Dank and juicy if that’s your thing. Sweet upfront but finishes bitter. Really good hop flavor without being dry. Excellent!

Pours a clear copper hue with a tan head. Aroma of fresh citrusy hops. Taste is mildly sweet moving quickly to significant amounts of citrusy bitter hops. Very fresh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not their best scratch ipa. Great fruity aroma, some sort of stale pepper after taste I can’t get over.

Amazing hop aroma with pine, grass, and lemon zest. Brilliant And complex. Pours super heady with nice amber and carbonation. Taste is equally hoppy with great pine resin. Just fresh and amazing.

Very pronounced flora aroma. Amber orange color with finger and half light tan head. Laces the glass all around. Hops abound! Very nice bitter taste. Feels clean on the tongue with a lingering hops taste which I love. It is not for the Pilsner aficionado. Hop heads will find this quite to the liking. Overall a very good IPA.

This is all about the hops. Aroma of fresh hops, citrusy and tropical. Pours amber gold with a little hop haze. The flavor is hops, hops and more hops without the excessive bitterness. The bone dry base beer is the perfect hop delivery system. Stealth IBUs are hidden under the smoothness. Delicious and guzzleable.
