4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Pastor (700) - Maine, USA - MAR 13, 2009
Thanks to Dim for another in the scratch series. I poured this one into my new Prima Pils glass, it produced a fingers worth of white head that lasts. The body of the brew was a slightly hazy pale yellow.
The aroma was a nice bready grassy and lemony hops, it was right on target for the style in my book.
The flavors of light refreshing citrus just bounce around my tongue, along with a summer grassy taste. You know when you were a kid and stuck a piece of grass on you mouth like a farmer. Nice and light in the mouth with great carbonation
I must say this is perhaps one of the easiest drinking brews I have had in a while. I could suck back quite a few of these and find it an enjoyable experience. This is one of the better scratch brew I have had great job Tröegs

Bottle at nearbeer’s Spring Cleansin’. Pours a nice golden color with some effervescence, and a thin white head. Aroma is smooth lemon and honey with some light grassy notes. The flavor is dry grassy hops, some crackery malt, and a distant lettuce note in the finish. Pretty good.
