Bottle poured a clear gold with a lasting white head. Aromas of biscuit, yeast, citrus, earthiness and light pine. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, straw, lemon, yeast, light earthiness and a hint of pine with a smooth dry moderatly bitter lingering lemon finish.

Sampled at the Hawai’i Admission Day tasting. Pours opaque mustard yellow with big white head. The aroma is spicy and citric hops with a very interesting floral and high-alcohol note. The flavor is spicy hops and slight alcohol with a little bit of yeast and a sourish hint. The finish is very floral and leaves a spicy aftertaste. Yum.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy gold with a modest, white head. Holds a funky hop aroma with some spices and banana. Flavor is lightly tart, hoppy and has mild fruit notes. Medium in body with lively carbonation. Finishes crisp and refreshing. Very good beer.

BCTC, draft. Cloudy light amber body with small off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, orange/pineapple, light bread, spicy. Taste is medium sweet, straw/orange, some bread, faint spicy. Light-medium body, light dryness.

[BCTC 2010] Hazy golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, pine, grass, citrus, vanilla, spices, orange, and light alcohol. Taste of grass, skunky hops, vanilla, wood, honey, toast, and a bitter, hop finish.

(12oz bottle via trade with BA StormKing47) opaque yellow with lasting film of white bubbles. Nose of melon, Belgian yeast, white pepper, and citrus fruits. Taste of bitter grapefruit, candied ginger, soft carbonation but an abundant linger of candied citrus fruits.

Bottle. Courtesy of Mothman. Pours with a mammoth fluffy, pillowy offwhite head. Aroma of spices and slight hops. A somewhat spicy beer ( spice like clove) with a nice little bite of hops. Dry finish. Poured an opaque hazy orange color. Some sediment present at the bottom of my glass. Not really overly exciting but not bad. Medium mouthfeel. Alcohol is somewhat present but not overbearing in any way.

A damn fine beer, I would drink it until my liver gave way. Nothing offensive at all, just beer bliss. Would get again fo sho. So glad i got to try this one, full flavor, light body, minimal sweetness, yeast was fruity, same peach and pear flavors that the belgo old guardian had. really an awesome beer, they need to make it a seasonal release.

Pours a hazy pale yellow with a billowing white head. Great nose holding citrus and floral hops with light yeast notes. Very interesting.
