12 oz bottle. Mostly clear Orange amber with a small creamy off white head. Nose is full of corn and wheat, light grassy hops. Pretty damn tasty, not very familiar with the style though.

Poured a clear yellowish-orange with a short white head. The nose was malty with grassy hops. Tasted of german hops with a light maltness. Lacked deepth. Not a huge fan of the style, but the beer overall wasn’t much to comment on. It wasn’t horrible, but I doubt i would order it again.

oteyj (2127) - New Hampshire, USA - JUL 2, 2010
A clear golden orange pour with a lively white head and medium to low carbonation in the body. The nose is gassy hops with hints of orangepeel, resin, cereal grain, and a faint caramel malt. The flavor is juicy citrus fruit (mandarin, sweet grapefruit, lemon) with hints of beady dough and caramel. The hop character is grassy and almost perfume like. The palate is medium bodied with low carbonation, making for a very smooth and slippery texture. The finish is dry and vegetative. Not bad at all.

A decent bock, the beer comes across as malty but with a very solid hop presence and bitterness. Pretty good, solid, nothing too crazy.

My first scratch beer...I don’t sense anything special here. A real nice pour though...nice medium gold melding into amber coloring with a two thick finger head which held for a while before dissipating and leaving a nice thin lace on top. Interesting light grassy fresh aroma. I’m not any type of expert on this style, but mouthfeel has a bit of sticking around without being bad tendency. Just a pretty even, empty flavor to me. A mild hop and malt evenness that tends to emptiness for me. This drinks fine, but not sure of a reason to drink it over and over again.
