A: The pour is a cloudy golden color with a massive white head that eventually dies down to a thin layer that allows one to drink the beer below.
S: A big-time spice character to the nose, which you often find in American brewed saisons. Lots of white pepper, orange peel, coriander, and and a floral, honey note. Some soft, cracker malt aromas are present as well.
T: The flavor starts off with a lot of sweet oranges as well as some sweet malt and honey. The spices follow this and give off a lot of pepper, coriander, and yeast. Some hints of lemon and orange zest come through on the finish and provide a bit of bitterness.
M: Medium in body, maybe a bit heavy for a saison, with a fairly lively carbonation.
D: Lots of sweetness and spiciness, but overall a well done saison. Not completely overwhelmed by the spices like a lot of American saisons seem to be.
