MALT: PILS, MUNICH
IBU: 85
HOPS: WARRIOR, CLUSTER, COLUMBUS
YEAST: HOUSE ALE
CODENAME:IPA #1 OF 4

Scratch #37 features Warrior and Cluster hops with a touch of Columbus. It pours a bright gold with a white cap and soft carbonation. Ripe fruits are present on the nose, and continue in the taste giving a lush, tropical papaya-like flavor. This ample bitterness is offset by sweet Munich malt that lingers through each taste. Enjoy our latest IPA foray, and stay tuned for future experiments in the style. Research has rarely been so rewarding.

Thanks to StormKing47 for sending me this bottle. The beer pours a golden yellow color with a white head. The aroma is a mix of flower hops, bready malt, grass and some iced tea notes. Very interesting, but not something I am too crazy about. The flavor is more of the same. I get orange and pine, as well as some bready malt and something that tastes like sweat. Low bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Interesting, but not a beer I am too crazy about. Still, I am glad I got to try it. Thanks for sending it Josh.

Growler from the brewery. Pours a nice amber color with a white head that disappeared slowly. Sharp citrus aroma - fresh hop very prevelant. Had a good hop presence in the taste but was balanced with some sweetness from the malt. Great beer, I will definately get this one again, would love to see this make their year-round list or at least as a seasonal. To me, this rivals the Nugget Nectar. Well done, Troegs!!!
