Feb 7, 2008 Cloudy orange-amber pour into an Aventinus glass. Powerfully sweet aroma of citrus and banana, lots of brown and cane sugar, clove, and additional spices. Flavor is quite sweet with lots of sugary wheat – Banana, apple, and citrus dominate with some clove and spice mixed in nicely. A very pleasant tingly sensation and full bodied mouthfeel round this one out nicely. Good W-bock, wouldn’t mind seeing it in their regular rotation.

Feb 7, 2008 Bottle, thanks mj. Cloudy dirty brown, like apple cider. Pleasant clove/banana nose with a smoky undertone. The flavor is heavy on the clove then yeasty banana, toffee, smokiness and a touch of pear. Very bold and full-flavored. Very thick and chewy on the palate with moderate carbonation. Enjoyable.

Feb 7, 2008 Bottle. Pours ruddy medium brown with 1-finger off-white head. Nice aroma of banana, clove, brown sugar, caramel malt, spicy notes. Medium palate with a lot going on in the flavor department. Banana, clove, malt, brown sugar, toffee, and some backup spicy hop notes make this one very complex and enjoyable.

Feb 5, 2008 Poured muddy brown with an off white head. Aroma of fruit and spice. Lots of fruit flavors with some brown sugar. Finished with some spice. Different.

Feb 4, 2008 Dark orange/copper color, a bit cloudy with a nice medium foamy head. Aroma of brown sugar, wheat, clove, and some fruit. Flavor is rich and spicy - big presence of wheat malt but with hints of sweetness and some hops to finish it off. Very nice offering.

Feb 3, 2008 Poured a murky red orange color with a large, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of banana, clove, citrus, dark fruits, and faint brown sugar. Taste of tart citrus, wheat, banana, clove, with nougat, and faint alcohol. I like this yeast strain alot!

Feb 2, 2008 12 oz bottle. Murky brown with a beige head and lacy patches. Nose is wheat and cloves. Creamy with a light carb tang. Taste is nougat, banana and cloves with a zesty lemon-orange bite. Soft bitter finish. Quite enjoyable.
