Commercial Description:
Red and white wheat combined with darker malts add body to this hazy, unfiltered ale. Fermented with the same yeast as DreamWeaver Wheat replicating the pepper, clove and all-spice flavors found in our year-round beer.

19.1 Plato, 7.9% ABV, 18 IBU. Made with pils and crystal malt, red and white wheat, and magnum and German Northern Brewers hops.

12 oz bottle from Odeed; one of my favorite styles; Nose of bananas, caramel, yeast, cloves, andbreadiness; very cloudy brown with a medium reddish beige head; flavor of banana, brown sugar, cloves, and some nutmeg; finish is a tiny bit of hops, nutmeg, and a hint of warmth! Damn good weisenbock! More complex than most impy stouts! Almost as godd as the Livery and my Fav Valley Effingud!

Bottle, courtesy tpd975. Pours a hazy caramel color, with a fizzy white head and wet ring of lacing on the glass. Nose of dark ripe fruit, chocolate, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, some apple and zest. Flavor is creamy chocolate and caramel, some slight roast, wheat and very smooth flavors throughout the beer. Very full-bodied, creamy. Tons of flavor, and nicely balanced.

(bottle, thanks Tytoanderso) Pours cloudy brown with a thick off-white head. Aroma is just huge with banana, clove, gumball, strawberry, and some raisin as well. This aroma is really wonderful. The taste does not disappoint, with a substantial amount of banana, caramel in the beginning, the mid-palate produces some spicy clove, and the finish is clean and provides that great wheaty twang. This is a really high quality weizenbock, and is incredibly underrated.

Bottle and served in Aventinus glass: Muddled deep amber hue with a constant frothy head but minimal lace. The aroma displays all the esters I would expect from the genre with banana, clove, bubblegum, caramel, toast, fig, hint of smoke and some alcoholic vapours. The spicy ester just hangs around the nose forever!

The taste has a roundness of malt throughout with a slight burnt finish supported by a light-handed fruity quality and just a dash of herbal hops. The wheat really is noticeable in midsection and melds the flavor profile together very well. The finish shows off the spicy qualities of the yeast that lingerings on towards the chalky dry finish. A bit sweet upon the aftertaste, nougat and butterscotch or it would have been a 10 for flavor profile. The mouth feel is soft and somewhat chewy, dry and a touch warming.

Overall a wonderful example of a style I wish more brewers would attempt. Right up there with the best of the genre. GET YA SOME!!!

Bottle courtesy of The Epeeist: Pours a hazy copper amber with a nicely-lacing froth of white head. Sweet caramel and bready German yeasty nose has a good clove presence and some banana esters. Body starts fairly full and rich with good malty wheat sweetness and nice balance of clove spice and light citrus before an authentic bready yeasty finish. A very nice weizenbock.

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of spices, yeast, clove, caramel, banana, toasting, and some alcohol. Poured a medium brown color with a small, tan head that diminished over time. Cloudy. Opaque. Lightly sweet flavor. Tastes of spices, cloves, pepper, brown sugar, herbal hops, banana, and caramel. Medium body. Slightly texture. Soft carbonation. Clove, brown sugar, finish. Delicious.

Poured a murky red orange color with a large, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of banana, clove, citrus, dark fruits, and faint brown sugar. Taste of tart citrus, wheat, banana, clove, with nougat, and faint alcohol. I like this yeast strain alot!
