3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Dunt (214) - Illinois, USA - JUN 23, 2012Bottle provided by Chris for Epic Tres. Pours a hazy light yellow/orange, with a half fingers worth off-white head. Nose is spicy, A little Brett, some honey, and a little phenolic. Taste follows the nose, spice and honey dOminate with some mild funk and apple in the background. Mouthfeel is light, good carbonation, dry, and a moderate finish. Good, not great, one of my least favorite of the tasting. Think I prefer splinter blue to this.

Pours very hazy amber color, finger-width head that quickly disappears. Fruity, boozy, carbonated flavor. Mouthfeel of sparkling juice. Goes down easy. Delicious and worth the special trip for a bottle.
Fan-flipping-tastic. That’s a tmesis.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 PhillyCraft (1964) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 18, 2013
Bottle from brad and brendon shared the day of the release at Capones. Pours murky gold with thick lasting white head. Notes of chardonay barrel, grape, bubblegum, wood, lemons, funk and whiskey. Wish this was a little more tart or sour. Not bad though.
1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 Beerathon (589) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 5, 2013
I’m starting to have an appreciation for sours/wilds, but this one is just too much. The nose alone was a turnoff.

Shared by yourefragile at our sour and wild ale tasting on April 14, 2012. Thanks Michael!
The beer appears hazy and golden yellow colored with a small white head. The aroma is very pleasant, with scents of oak, brettanomyces, funk, citrus. I am a big fan of the flavor. Everything I discovered in the aroma translates beautifully into the flavor profile. Citrus, yeast, oak, funk. Alcohol content is hidden gracefully. Overall, I thought this was fabulous.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 GT2 (5657) - Riverslime, California, USA - JUL 23, 2012
750mL at Woodshop 7. Pours cloudy, glowing gold. Fizzy white head with large formation. Heavy Brett C and B nose: cedar and pineapple blend. Fresh and tropical. Taste is juicy, melon heavy, cantaloupe, pineapple. Palate is still thicker and oily with Brett effervescence. Easily loved Brett centric blonde. An easy winner from Troegs. This is a must for a re-release or for a year round release.

750ml thanks to bu11zeye.
Hazy golden brew with lots of off-white head. Aromas of Brett, honey, and some fruit - wonderfully tart with more Brett, spicy yeast, and a nice bitterness. Delicious!

Bottle thanks to GRG1313. Gusher. Pours with a hazed golden hued body and a massive white head. Some particles. Aromas are of funk and floral oak, spicy barrel notes, medium esters, lots of phenol. Rich brett. Mild alcohol. Flavors are dry and funky, with still a rich Tripel character. Nice esters and phenols, elegant. Some tannin notes. Light perceived sweetness from the alcohol. Dry, with very active carbonation.

Pours golden orange with a bubbly off white head. The aroma is sweet wild yeast so pleasant in the nose. The flavor of the spicy and sweet westmalle yeast complement the Brett so well on a decent solid body. There are boozy notes that come through clean on the Belgian style flavors and good body.
