moseslikesbeer (183), conestoga, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 6, 2008 bottle from afireinside, thanks Waylon!
another good beer from the Troegs bros. Aroma of hops and flowers. Looks the way a pilsener should. Light gold color and some carbonation. Tatses much like it smells. Hops(that didn’t kill me) and earthy flavor just right for summertime drinking. doogie (24), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 4, 2008 Bottle - Pours pale yellow/amber with a white, disappearing head. Aroma of spicy hops but not much flavor with a bit of bitter finish. I think this was too fizzy, even after settling down a bit. Not my favorite pils or the best of Troegs. FROTHINGSLOSH (1961), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 2, 2008 Sampled on draft this beer poured a pale yellow color with a large yellow-white head. The aroma was faint pale malts and a hint of floral hops. The flavor was crisp and dry with a light floral and fruity hop presence. joshwilfong (769), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Jul 1, 2008 yellow, mild head. very little malt component, which is the ultimate downfall of this beer and any pils. does have some hop crispness, but an average one at best. not good urraca (44), New Jersey, USA Jun 30, 2008 Above average Pilsner, great for a hot summer day. I’d certainly drink this over any mass-produced brew light beer. Good flavors and balance between the lightness of the true pilsner character and the hop bitterness, which yields a very quenching beer. Pour clear yellow, with a slim white head. Citrus and grass aromas dominate. Maverick34 (686), New York, USA Jun 28, 2008 Bottled. Poured gold w/decent lasting head. SOme grass malts etc. Good but a little disappointing give the brewer’s other work. Cruzan59 (197), Lititz, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 26, 2008 12oz bottle at Catch 54 Fish House, Fenwick Island, DE...yellowish pour, white head...grassy aroma...light doughy citrus flavor, light hops...I’ve had better from these guys. bu11zeye (5430), Frisco, Texas, USA Jun 25, 2008 (Bottle, courtesy of Swalden 28) Pours a clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of soap, lemon grass, and grain. Flavor of mild hops (grass/floral, light lemon), toasted grain, and soapiness.
