The flavor was good with really good balance of the hops and bitters and finishing with a subtle lemon flavor. Overall, a very good summer beer KUEric (632), Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA Jun 21, 2008 Wow! Delicious I coulldn’t believe this was a pilsner. So much flavor. Lots of caramel malts, flowery hops, lite pine. It was almost like and APA, not a pilsner. can’t reccommend it enough.! LilBeerDoctor (1480), East Setauket, New York, USA Jun 19, 2008 On tap at Dek’s. Pours a light golden yellow with a thick white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of spices, light fruits, floral hops. Smells more like an ale with all the ester notes. Flavor of wheat, buttery popcorn, with a bubblegum and banana finish. Refreshing, light, and crisp. Normally I’m not much of a fan of lagers, but this one was full of flavor and had a lot going on. Very enjoyable. alobar (1006), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 14, 2008 Clear yellow straw color with a bitter yeast aroma. Taste is somewhat typical of a pilsner -yeast, barley, but htis one has some serious hops at the back end. Very good for this style. travita (1861), Frisco, Texas, USA Jun 10, 2008 Yellow straw color with a light head. Smell is wheat, light malts, grains, a touch of hops, and on the verge of skunky. Taste is light and the same as the smell. Slipstream (734), USA Jun 9, 2008 This looks fine in my new pilsner glass. The scent is sweet and fresh - dried flowers with a little yeast. It is a fairly malty pilsner with tingly hops in the finish, and a touch of honey sweetness. Light to medium body. A nice summer brew. santos999 (318), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 8, 2008 Pours a very clear, light gold with nice fast moving carbonation and a big frothy, bone white head. The aroma is very floral and clean, with some apple, pear, and lager yeast notes. In the mouth it’s clean and crisp, with many deep subtleties. Hay, grass, flowers, grains, cereal, slight sulfur, and a long, bitter finish. While nothing special, this is a great summer beer that’s easy drinking, thirst quenching, and done just right.
