DragonsHead (137), Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 8, 2008 Updated: Feb 10, 2008Great summer beer. I just opened one of these up from August. The hops have calmed a bit. It’s almost too calm for the sunshine. Best to be drank soon. doesn’t cellar well. Very thin, crisp taste. A craft brew answer to the american light beer. Goodgrief (1144), Middletown, Delaware, USA Feb 2, 2008 June 2006 - Beer poured really bright pale yellow (looked like it might glow in the dark!), little to no head or lacing. The little bubbles that rose to the top in a steady stream for about 45 min (was consumed over the course of bottle feeding twins, so it took me a while) were kind of mesmerizing, though. Aroma was grassy. Taste was grassy funky hop flavor but with also nice hop bitterness bite. Didn’t change much as it warmed all the way to room temp. The mouthfeel was thin, but it wasn’t devoid of flavor...just not smooth. I’m not really experienced in pilsners, as it’s not one of my fav styles, but this one didn’t do much to make me want to explore more. Beerman6686 (1264), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 16, 2007 Pours a very light yellow, almost coors light like. Aroma of citrusy hops. Tastes of light hops and malt. Very refreshing summer beer. stangger (155), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 30, 2007 12 oz bottle. Smells like a cheap college beer, very Yuengling-like. Ugly looking, too - weak, yellowish hue. I know it’s a cliche, but this actually does have a faint urine aroma. Tastes like a cheap lager with water added. Yuengling-light. Very disappointing offering from this brewery. Pwn3d (1036), Manhattan, New York, USA Nov 28, 2007 12oz bottle. Pours no head, looks far too clear, smells like melons, tastes thin and akward, noticable amounts of melon and lemon. jredmond (1015), New Jersey, USA Nov 27, 2007 12 oz bottle. Body is light yellow. Aroma is melon and piss. Taste is melon and piss. Didnt really enjoy this one too much. mk70 (62), New York, USA Nov 25, 2007 Updated: Apr 16, 2008Pours very light yellow, forms small head. Citrus notes and some light hop flavor. Crisp, nice for a hot day. Smooth and refreshing without any heavy-ness. dkachur (2316), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Nov 3, 2007 Updated: May 30, 200912 ounce bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. My previous rating was bad... 5/4/4/4/10, so I’m giving this a rerate. Pours a very clear pale yellow color with a large foamy head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of corn, honey and light grass. Taste is bitter grassy hops and citrus. Medium bodied. 5/5/5/3/11.
