bread like aroma. pours very light color yellow. Long lasting white head saves the appearance score. this lager that doesn’t have that skunky taste. I could actually drink this once in while.

Growler from Brewery. Thought for sure I rated this one before! This years sunshine pils seems a bit more bitter than in years past - a good thing. A slightly sour taste. One of the best pilsners out there, but I still like Victory Prima and the southhampton keller pils better. Still, not a bad pilsner.

1/06/2011: Troegs Sunshine Pils... Aroma: Lightly fruity malt with notes of grass and floral hops. Appearance: Hazy, pale lemon juice-like color; flury of carbonation; large, lasting off-white head. Flavor: Crisp, lightly sweet and fruity wheat and Pils malt up front followed by grassy, lightly spicy and citrusy hops; moderate bitterness; spicy, bitter finish. Palate: Medium-light; airy without being over-carbonated. Overall: Decent Pils that is easy to drink and quite refreshing.

12 fl. oz. bottle (5.3% alc/vol; Bottled 070210 14:26; Batch #100517) from Jungle Jim’s International Market in Fairfield, Ohio. Rating #575 for this beer.

Pounds a sharp and turbulent stare gold with two fingers of sticky white head. Nose is holly and shows fresh cut grass and a light malt sweetness. Soft bready malt is at the forefront in the flavor. Some citrus rind and fresh hoppy notes show on the finish. Soft palate and a smooth finish.

Its 93 degrees / 90% humidity out... very refreshing. Nice taste, and not "wimpy" for citrus flavored brews.

Aroma is very neutral. Light straw color with very active carbonation. Prevalent hops and straw on the taste.
