May 4, 2009 Bottle. Pours light gold with a white head. Light aroma, hints of sweet malt and maybe some grassy hops. The flavor has grainy sweet malts and a lightly bitter hop finish. Not bad, certainly drinkable, but I must say, it’s amazing how a brewers reputation can inflate the scores of their more pedestrian offerings. If this beer said ’Bud Pils’ on the label it’s average score wouldn’t be above 2.5.

May 3, 2009 12oz bottle, bottled 4/1/09. Pours very pale clear yellow color, filtered and extremely clear. Bud light appearance here. Fluffy well retained white head. Aroma shows normal pilsner stuff though it is pleasant and nothing is off. Cereal, pilsner malt, some corn. Hops are low. Flavor is super clean, dry, slightly watery. Super easy to drink though I wish it were a little more flavorful. Nice enough but a little too light for its own good.

May 3, 2009 Aaahhh, Sunshine. I always enjoy this Pils. Clear bright golden color. Aroma and taste is crisp and light with some citrus and light hops. Very detectable pilsner malts, very good.

May 2, 2009 Bright hazy yellow orange; fluffy white head. Crisp, hoppy, more wheat and lemon than I usually find. Very solid American pilsner.

Apr 30, 2009 [Bottle] Pours golden with a nice white head. Aroma is very grainy, with very light honey mixed in as well. The taste is once again grain dominant, but also has decent bitterness from the hops, and just a hint of sweetness at the very front end of it. Mouthfeel is average, but the finish is quite nice, and the strongest point of the beer imo. Overall, a very simple beer that did not impress with the aroma, but that did show promise with its drinkability and nice, long finish.

Apr 28, 2009 Pours a golden color with a white head. Grainy aroma with a hint of some floral hops. Flavor was better than I was expecting. Malty flavor at first that finishes dry with a little bit of some hop bitterness.

Apr 26, 2009 Good initial head that settles into a single layer of fine bubbles. Clear greenish yellow color. Spotty lace to start; disappears by the end of the tasting.
Raw grain smell dominates the odor. Light hop in the background.
Good hop presence in the taste; some raw grain. Not as crisp as some--full body with above average amount of carbonation. The aftertaste has an element of lactose, but it’s mostly hop bitterness.
