Crisp, spicy, good looking with a nice puffy head and light golden color. Quenching. I should note that this was a very fresh bottling, < 10 days, and didn’t seem to exhibit some of the low-points I’ve seen in the reviews, but to each his own. coldbrewky (742), Saugerties, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 12, 2008 Bottle: Pours a moderate golden with a lasting small dense white head. Nice stringy lacing. Nose is lemons and limes over grains and a bit of dry hay. Body is light and has matching hops thruout body and finish. Mouthfeel is a bit on the hollow side with a bit of metalic creaminess that lesds directly into the finish. Overall an enjoyable brew that needs a bit more to stand out in a crowd but is nonetheless an easy drinker. raymow (740), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 26, 2003 Rather good pilsner. It has a nice medium-gold color and hoppy, slightly citrus flavor. You can taste the quality in the beer. BeerGestapo (740), Windsor, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 28, 2006 Bottle. Pours a clear, pale gold with a thick white head that leaves some webbed lacing. The tangy aroma contains a good bit of wheat, lemon, orange rinds and a little corn. Thin-bodied and crisp. Very zesty upfront. Lots of wheatiness, lemons and rinds throughout. A dry and bitter, wheaty finish with a touch of corn and hops. It lingers on the back of the tongue. Very refreshing. DrHomolka (731), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 3, 2009 12oz bottle, bottled 4/1/09. Pours very pale clear yellow color, filtered and extremely clear. Bud light appearance here. Fluffy well retained white head. Aroma shows normal pilsner stuff though it is pleasant and nothing is off. Cereal, pilsner malt, some corn. Hops are low. Flavor is super clean, dry, slightly watery. Super easy to drink though I wish it were a little more flavorful. Nice enough but a little too light for its own good. xproudfoot (729), Paleolithic, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jun 5, 2006 On tap at Good Dog. Stuffy, smoky place, hard to smell much arom. looks like your usual yellow piss type beer. Taste has got some metal lager tang and doesn’t taste too far removed from budweiser. No particular hop or malt coming through, just a one dimensional low flavor beer. Overrated, Troegs weakest offering.
