Very deceptive light golden color with stark white foam, nice grassy Saazy aromas. Flavor is quick and simple, dry with some grassy bitterness. Not as complex as many other things out there, but damn if it doesn’t make me smile every summer. pojo41 (315), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 31, 2008 Poured a hazy straw color. Decent white head with a pretty good lace. Good clean malt flavor. I thought this was a pretty good pils. The hazy appearance was unusual for a lager but, didn’t detract from the flavor. Leighton (310), New York, New York, USA

Some hint of lemon in the aroma. Poured a faint yellow with no head. Perhaps the tap was off; or maybe I just missed something. Did not enjoy this beer. TrevorFloyd (309), Connecticut, USA

Pours a crisp, clear light straw yellow. Small fizzy head that clears pretty quick, leaving a decent amount of lacing. Aroma shows a light spicy hint of hops and some clean, smooth bready malt notes. Flavor follows the nose, with light but pronounced bitterness on the front, some light hop flavors throughout. Solid malt backbone showing that crisp bread flavor, with some sharp grainy yeast backing it up. Palate is superb- clean and even flavor throughout with a crisp, dry, clean finish. Superb summer brew. Jsawyer (287), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 29, 2009 Bottle. Poured effervescent gold with a light white head. Aroma was slight banana, cereal, light maltose, light phenols, and crisp yet floral noble hops. Flavor was lightly fruity, light caramel malt, cereal, mellifluous, pollen, and floral. Palate was light but carbonation provided some creaminess. Sadly it finished with a lingering celluloid bitterness. 6ROW (275), corpus christi, Texas, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 4, 2007 Bottle. Appearance is a shade dark than Miller Lite. Pearly white head - laced very nicely. Lemon, a bit an astringent cleaner flavor. Very crisp and clean. Backbone is natural - grassy. All in all, a nice pils. I would rebuy if I could get it. My first offering from Troegs.
