Unusual - not your average pilsener. Very light in appearance, slight hop smell, and a unique, almost sweet hop flavor. Kind of a hybrid pilsener/summer beer.

Good label, bright orange beer, slightly cloudy. A little musky and aley-citrus smelling. Nice hopping, citrusy. Long bitter finish, good solid mouthfeel. This was pretty good.

Straw golden color with a fizzy white head. I’ve been working in the garden all day, and this hits the spot. Light citrus nose. Clean and crisp beer. Light bready malts with lemon citrus and a grassy hop finish. Very nice thirst quencher beer.

The Lure:
Herbal hoppiness and light straw combine for an interestingly attractive aroma. If it weren’t filtered, this would probably be much more of a countryside.

The Festivities:
Citrus drops over crushed grain. Lingering grassy hoppiness dominates the German-like pils malts. Simple and well-done, an aptly named pils.

Transcendence:
Sunflower fields are fun to watch.

I look forward to seeing this beer show up at the beginning of the summer. Nice lemony aroma and flavor from the citrusy noble hops. Appearance is cloudy yellow with a thick white head. This beer tastes best served ice cold on a super hot afternoon.

Pale yellow pils with a good white head. Czech hops in aroma. Wonderfully hopped pils with good malt base. Medium bodied. Quaffable. Mondiale 2005.

A yellow hue reminiscent of pale lagers , a long lasting white head. Which had nice retention and lacing. Aroma was malty, almost corn-like and floral hop note. Flavor had some mild bitterness to it, but real mild malt notes Well balanced and light, not to powerful for a hot summer’s day.

Bottle. Clear light gold pour with a nice white head. Has a nice spicy, citrusy hop aroma. Crisp dry flavor with a nice bitterness, pretty good for a pilsener.
