Aroma is malty with a hint of dates and maple syrup. Dark brown appearance with a thick and lasting off white head. Very fruity flavor is grape-like with some sweet maple and a malty finish. Good beer.

copper color w/ beige head. big aroma of caramel and malt. full bodied, relatively sweet.

Bottle. Ruddy brown pour. Light caramelly and earthy aroma. Sweeter malty and nutty flavors, and a bit warming.

Wow! A pleasent surprise. My first brew from this brewery. Have to be careful with this one. Taste so good you forget about the 8.2. And that my friend will cause you a world of hurt.

Pours a cloudy copper. The aroma is an earthy malt. There’s little to none of the pruniness of some doppels. I tasted this one with the Full Sail Mercator and it wasn’t the beer Mercator was.

Very nice double bock. Reedish brown in sweet aroma and nutty flavor. One of my favorites. Also very close to home.

Pours a nice reddish brown with a good amount of foamy offwhite head that lasts. Aroma is sweet, nutty, rich and creamy, oaky, grapes, and sugar. Flavor is nutty and bitter, brown sugary, and dry. Overall, a pretty good brew.

A redish chestnut colored body sits beneath a faint wispy tan head. The aroma is largely nutty with notes of toasted honey wheat bread. The flavor is just that… sweet with honey and maple syrup, almonds and big suggestions of cashew are prominent. The malts are powerful and fruity. There is a hint of the higher alcohol on the right middle of each sip. A light citrus peel bitterness hits in the finish. Another beer that is leaving my lips sticky and my belly warm.
