Very nice bock, big flavor. I would market this as a seasonal; has holiday spices galore, pretty tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from can into a snifter. Pours a dark brown/red with a very small tan head. Aroma consists of dark fruits, nuts, roasted malts, and caramel. All of those aromas come through in the taste with additions to vanilla, toffee, tobacco, and chocolate. Some aluminum comes through in the taste as well, but it does not dampen the flavor. It is a very sweet beer. Medium bodied beer with low carbonation and a velvety mouth feel.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a rich reddish chestnut brown with a decent, finely-bubbled yellow-white head that fades rapidly to a rim and partial coating. Aroma is sweet chalky malts - nuts, bread, caramel. Taste follows suit with toffee, dark fruits, a well-hidden warming alcohol and a touch of cherry. I appreciate a good doppelbock - and this is a very good one. Yum.
