A Mes rate: Barrel at Battersea Beer Festival.
Nice brown yellow colour (honestly it’s nicer than it sounds) with a very slight haze. Juicy and earthy and peaty almost whiskey barrel like aroma. Hot diggity dang, full on whiskey, peat and iodine flavour. Nice and juicy yet wonderfully dry. Really really dry. Really well balanced. Proper stuff.
