33 cl bottle. Clear golden color, with faint malty citrus aroma. Big rocky head that fades about halfway. Floral, citrus hops, malty taste. Nice delicate balance between malt and hops. Very good IPA IMO.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Muggus69 (885) - Newcastle, NSW, AUSTRALIA - FEB 10, 2010
33cl bottle
Lively gold bdoy with big billowing white foam.
Amazing fruity hop aroma; grapefruit, gooseberry, passionfruit, hint of pale malt.
Medium bodied, thick texture somewhat balanced by racy carbonation.
Plenty of fruit hops on the body; grapefruit, passionfruit, melon and grass. Quite bitter dry finish.
Really nice IPA, particularly for this part of the world. Finally, something with heaps of hops!

Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to light heavy hoppy, orange, light grapefruit. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091124]
3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Sammy (7120) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 20, 2010
Bottle from Lubiere. Pours enormous head for me, medium grapefruit body with enormous white head that leaves a symphony of whte lace. Medium, and cushioned mouthfeel, but also tingly. Aroma, after it settles, I would call neutral. Mild grapefruit flavour that leaves an orange residue. A good taste, a substantial IBU that is right there at the top of the IPA range.Drying.
3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 henrimac (17) - Caracas, VENEZUELA - JAN 8, 2010
Aroma: Evident flower hops. Appearance: Nice translucent dark gold color. It got turbid when I poured the yeast sediment. Small white head but remains. Taste: Strong bitterness. Leaves a strong hops aftertaste, but not too dry. Palate: Highly carbonated. Mostly tasted with the back of the tongue.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Rastacouere (6058) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 23, 2009
The beautiful white rocky head climbs atop the deep golden hue with a slight orange leaning. A very good-looking beer with its intriguing haze. Whew, that’s a perfumey one hinting at shampoo, bright and exotic citrus, pineapple, litchee. Fruity, earthy, loaded with bright and fresh hop flavours and managing to reach a superior complexity. Underneath the obvious, the malts are soft, bready, serving barely a support role and letting themselves outshined by the characterful hops - which is fine as it makes for a dry and most drinkable beer and because those hops are interesting & FRESH enough on their own. All along the ride, I’m intrigued by its yeastiness. This is not the cleanest IPA and actually possesses a phenolic edge that imparts a certain rubbery edge to its aroma and finish as tea-like tannins cluster the palate. A bit agressive second-half with the bitterness being all alone and its growing astringency, but still far better than average in taste and just superior in aroma and looks.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 MoritzF (7835) - Bochum, GERMANY - DEC 23, 2009
(bottle, 33cl, with thanks to Allen!) Hazy, golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Fresh, lemon-fruity and piney hoppy aroma with notes of pine-apples and a mildly yeasty and pale malty background. Moderately bitter flavour, medium bodied with a sparkly carbonation. Quite complex hops profile with mainly fruity accents of citrus/lime, exotic fruits and piney, woody elements; dry and slightly bitter noble hoppy finish with a mildly malty sweetness. A very aromatic and rounded brew. 21.XII.09

Bottle: Poured a cloudy hazy dirty orangey color ale with a super large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry European style hops with light citrus notes also noticeable. Taste is also dominated by dry and astringent hops with light citrus notes also noticeable and some light Belgian style malt base. Body is quite full with great carbonation. Well done thought maybe a bit too astringent for my taste.
