Blah. Not a fan of this beer. These European attempts at IPAs I don’t think get a fair shot because of the shipping over here and the time they sit on the shelf. Aroma was lemon, grains and melon. Pour was a nice medium gold with a one finger off white head. Taste was all melon and lemon with notes of cough syrup in the finish. Can’t imagine this is what the beer is supposed to taste like. Light carbonation.

dark golden-orange body, thin white head, and spotty lacing. Floral and citric hop notes are present but restrained, slight residual sugar and booze, candied oranges. Medium bodied with moderate to lively carbonation, mild bitterness.

7/VII/16 - 33cl bottle from a trade @ home - BB: VIII/2016 (2016-736) Thanks to CH-303 for the trade!

Little hazy deep blond beer, huge dense, creamy off-white to yellowish head, very stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, some tropical fruits, overripe banana, biscuity malts, caramel, quite some almonds, sweet impression, bit sugary, peaches. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet start, oxidized, honey, very malty, some cardboard, some citrus, very yeasty, soapy bitterness, ripe banana. Aftertaste: very bitter, citrus, little sourish, malty, caramel, oxidation, yeast touch. A bit too old, I guess?

UPDATED: AUG 3, 2016 33cl-fles verkregen via schoonbroer Hendrik. Merci! M: Aangenaam sterke carbonatie. Lekkere IPA.

Bottle from notes. Pours a clear amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, caramel, pale toasted malts, orange citrus, light resin, some faded hop character.

Flaska. Dimmigt orange med ett stort lätt smutsat vitt skum. Dofter av blomster, citrus, persika och tall. Smakinslag av citrus, tall, apelsinskal och gräs. Trött humle, skarp beska som inte riktigt backas upp av någon sötma.

330ml bottle from Drinks of the World, Basel (5.40 CHF):
A nice change up for a Swiss beer after a lot of lagers & spiced beers. Good bitterness & hops with a caramel sweetness to back them up. The balance was good & the alcohol was well hidden which made it an easy one to drink & one of the better Swiss offerings I’ve tried.
