courtesy of Embrouille, thank you! floral, malty nose, light traces of coriander, almost too sweet the taste, nice finish with orange zest bitterness that almost impregnates the palate, so that all following gulps or sips have a nicer sweet- and bitterness - balance. Alcohol stands out a bit too strong for my taste.

Nettes und unspektakulaeres, zudem noch sehr mildes und damit recht fieses Wit mit ein bisschen zu wenig an Saeure und Wuerze, aber dennoch recht sueffig und simpel gesagt lecker.

Aroma is citrus, slight coriander, orange peel, and some roasty malts. Taste is light sweet maltiness but met with some slight tang and sour notes, orange, and some earthy bitterness. Appearance is a slightly hazy gold /orange with a thin pearl head that retains poorly.

Pours pale cloudy yellow with small white head. Superb fruity aroma with oranges, mango, pineapple, coriander. Taste is citrus, light sweetness, wheat. Taste is light and muted but quite delicious with high marks for drinkability. Medium body, little carbonation. Excellent wit, I like this better than most Beligan ones!

Pours out of the bottle in a hazy white-yellow colour with low ehad and medium body. Aroma of hops and citrus / acid. Taste of acid, green nuts, citrus, flowers, mild hops and wheat. Spour and thin finish but nice drinkable - you won’t notice the alcohol amount at all.

33cl bottle, bier-deluxe Trois Dames sampler. Pours a soggy ochre with greenish hue. Nose is inviting enough, if contained: apparent coriander, some old meadow. Palate and taste defined by heavy wheat malts creating a plethora of ripe fruit notes (apple compote, white grapes). At 7%, a well-made but ponderous "blanche double" very much like Abbaye des Rocs’ Blanche des Honnelles - lacking a fair bit of that invoked "fraîcheur", the main reason for me to reach for a blanche.

0.355l bottle @ Baran. This is a really heavy bottle! Holding it when it’s empty I keep on pouring it over my glass expecting something to come out. Anyhow, it has at first a quite clear yellow golden body but when you get to the bottom it gains a more and more cloudy momentum. It also has a medium sized bright white lingering and soft lacing top. Mild nose really. Wheat sweetness with hay, dried orange zest and some naked human skin. A light sweet candy sweetness also. In the mouth it has a light almost cloudy mouthfeel and it’s just about average on the bubbles. Tastes alright. I get a good amount of white wine grapes here. Lots of hay and wheat with a peppery herbal touch. Soft fruity all the way and it’s quite tasty this. All in all a bit different but nice. 24.01.2014
