COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

hazy golden yellow capped by a thin white head. nose of lemon and wheat. Taste follows with the addition of coriander. Body is light and slightly thin. Where was this during the heat wave?

Hazy yellow color with white head. Aroma is spicy, lemony. Taste is herbal, fresh. Very herbal. Carbonation is crisp. Not my favourite Wit.

Barbiere, Bern tap: Pours whitish yellow with a white head. Aroma is spicy and lemony. Taste is very wheaty, sweet, and a bit tart with a nice bready finish. I enjoyed this plenty.

Smells of light hay and a little floral. Pours cloudy pale yellow with a lot of yeasty particles visible. Nice white head with nice lacing. Tastes tart but not overpowering. Long sour finish that doesn’t quit. Fizzy refreshing mouthfeel. Very drinkable.

Aroma is the classic wheat notes, corianders and orange peels. Quite refreshing smell actually. The taste is a bit standard for a witbier and nothing special, but nothing really wrong with it either. An ordinary beer on an extraordinary day.

Very fruity and spicy pale beer. Very refreshing beer, but very limited to the citrus fruits. A great beer that stays under its potential

Drank from a bottle. The beer has a slightly sweet taste with a small hint of fruit. Not very interesting.

330ml bottle poured in a chalice. Second Trois Dames specimen of the night. This time their simpatic Witbier. A: Pale beige to white cloudy color with a small head which dissipates quickly leaving few nice lacings around the glass S: Quite neutral and soft to a Witbier. Bit of spicies and orange with some malt and yeasts in the very end T: Citrus dominates. A bit more sour than a traditional Witbier. Wheat and malty end M: Creamy body. Low to medium carbonation. Low ABV. Sour end D: Average. Nice beer to a hot and sunny day with the Trois Dames quality [ BA Review @ 6/24/2010 ]
