Bottle 0.33l. Pours cloudy deep orange. Aroma is some citrus, malt, unspectacular. Taste is malty, slightly fruity, hops are hidden in the background. Overall okay but less interesting than the excellent Trois Dames IPA.

330ml bottle poured in a chalice. Yes, we have Double IPA! This is a exciting discover: An Imperial IPA made in Switzerland... :) A: Orange bit cloudy color (almost amber) with a small to medium beige head. Small retention and not many lacings left S: Delicious flowery hops as it should be. Caramel malts. Citrus and very fruity smell. No alcohol (good point) T: Delicious bitterness. Caramel malts. Sweet upfront. Earthy, grassy and citric hops. Fruity: Strawberries mainly. Yeasts. Very bitter: Great taste! M: Creamy body. Medium to low carbonation. Molasses D: To a beer with such ABV, I would say that it’s "dangerously drinkable". Extremely refreshing. The best Trois Dames I’ve had so far [ BA Review @ 11/4/2010 ]

Bottle, at Baran. It’s an unclear, reddish beer with a dense, finger-thick off-white head. The aroma has a faint cellar hint, caramel malts and some grains. Resiny, citrusy hops. There’s a fine bitterness in the mouth, with pale malts, karamel, resins and citrus. Medium to full body, semi-dry and nicely carbonated, with a pleasant caramel finish and bitter finish. A bit malty this one, but fine anyway. 140906

Rating #1048 - March 30, 2014 - Older bottle from Jasper Liquor Merchants. Pours a darker amber, with a bubbly tan head. Aroma is spicy, earthy hops, mild berry sweetness, mild citrys. Taste is very syrupy - hops have faded significantly i would imagine. Can’t give full praise to a hopless DIPA but despite its shortcomings, the beer was drinkable.

Vitalininnholdet ligger veloppdragent i bakgrunnen.

Pours deep orange with medium head. Aromas of oranges, hay and herbs. Taste is quite bitter with a solid hop bite that lingers, quite herbal, balanced with a sweet malt base. Full bodied, very enjoyable.

Pours out of the bottle in a hazy deep golden-amber colour with low steady head and smooth body. Aroma of fresh hops and flowers. Taste of aromatic hops, flowers, herbs, thyme, spices and mandarinas. Fresh and intense finish. Very nice.

10/V/14 - 33cl bottle from a trade @ home - BB: IV/2014 (2014-497) Thanks to Bartlebier for the trade!

Cloudy rusty red brown beer, aery beige to yellow head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very hoppy, piny and resinous notes, bit aged though, strawberry jam, bit dusty, caramel, sugary. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: citrus, bitter hops, syrupy, bit piny, caramel, exotic fruits, some strawberry jam, blueberries, pretty bitter. Aftertaste: bitter hops, fruity, forest fruit and red fruit jam. Would categorize this as a US barley wine, but what’s the difference really? Also, it seems as if my bottle was probably a bit old...

Aroma: intense citrus; Appearance: hazy orange, minimal head; Taste: heavy bitterness; light sourness; Palate: astringent finish, full body, thick texture, medium carbonation Terrific Dipa, it’s probably over 100 IBU. Price is the only drawback of this magnificent beer.
