Case (245) - GERMANY - JUN 19, 2014
Pours black with large beige head. Intense aroma of freshly roasted coffee and milk chocolate, really nice! Taste is roasty with a light sweetness and light bitterness. Overall taste is light and watery. Really brings out the espresso though. Would prefer a heavier, stronger-bodied stout.

33 cl bottle. Darkest hueless brown, tan foam fades fast. Aroma of chocolate and dark roast. Taste is citrus chocolate and bitter coffee bean. Softer carbonation, medium bodied, moderately hopped. Tartens a bit, leaning towards a vinous finish. DNFL (Definitely Not for Lagerboys)

Pours a very dark brown with a small tan head that shrinks. Aroma is coffee, roasted malt, grainy, and cocoa. Flavour is coffee, moderately sour, roasted malt, on the acidic side for sure, and cocoa. With the sourness/acidity I find this a bit off putting.
