Capped bottle from Au Grain d’Orge, Crissier
With a fizzy sound it pours a cloudy deep blond color; like the barrel aged sister, the head has short retention. The aroma is mild and a bit strange, there is some malt and bread dough. Light malt flavor, with bread dough notes and without the expected white wine; the bitterness seems quite low; in the final there is a very light fruity and sour touch.
This version has no acidity, no grapes, no fruits, no character. It doesn’t stand up against the previous sister.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with no head. Very enticing tart grape aroma. Medium body, very low carbonation, tart and citrusy with dry and tart notes of white wine - some wood also. Quite interesting. (and definitely no Belgian Wit!) 170910

Bottled, thanks Bov! Hazy golden, small head. Sweet malt covered by a heavy dose of citric acidity. Medium to full bodied with well rounded mouthfeel. Buttery and lemony with appetizing sourness. Juicy and intense, yet refreshing and complex. A wonderful, unique beer!

Corked bottle from bierkompass.de. Pale blonde, cloudy. Grapes and a hint of lemon in the aroma. Oak, vanilla, muscat grapesand lemon in the flavor. Hint os plums. A discrete sourness. Absolutely likeable beer, like a young lambic with a lot of plums and grape juice.

Allen (2670) - SWITZERLAND - MAY 15, 2010
Bottled 375ml. Courtesy of Bov. It pours a murky golden beer with practically no head. Fantastic, deeply invitng aroma. The taste is a lot sweeter than expected. Vinous with hardly any carbonation. Towards the finish and on the swallow this beer a slight reminiscence of mulled wine. Unfortunately the taste doesn’t quite match the wonderful nose. Complex, delicious and with a lot of character. Thanks a lot Bov!

Bov (8158) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAY 3, 2010
bottle from SoBiTa 2010 - hazy blond orange colour with no head retention; robust and complex aroma of almonds, apricot and undefined spices, some esters and notes of vinegar; moderate carbonation and full-bodied, sweet and sour/acidic; fruity and acidic finish with more notes of vinegar - original, complex and very good!
