COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle from Monument Wine. Pours reddish brown with a decent beige head and a vinegar aroma. There is a sour fruit and smoked malt flavor, quite vinous and tasty, that improves with warming. A good brown ale.

A solid sour brown. Sour, balsamic aroma with fruit. Flavor is lightly sweet, some sugar, dried fruit, and more balsamic. Medium palate and low carbonation.

Capped 750 from South Bay Drugs. Pours really dark reddish brown with a foamy, clingy beige head. The aroma is strongly sour and oaky. Med body; frothy carb. Flavor is sour reddish fruit. Way cool! Raspberry? Naah. Cherry? Could be kriek. Sour? Oh yeah!!!!! Really nice drink!

Thanks to Laurent for sharing. The aroma is like a wild strong lambic, with a peculiar apricot note when it warms up in the glass. Lacto sourness, caramel, chocolate, red fruits. Complex and lovely.

Bottle… Tower of Power Sour Hour Deel TweeThis beer rocks!… Cloudy, very dark mahogany ale with a small, creamy, white head. The complex, acidic, funky nose also presents lesser elements of chocolate and caramel layered upon a subdued herbal blend of roots - sassafras, licorice and sarsaparilla. Full-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and dancing carbonation. The flavor offers a good bit of sourness, but healthy bitterness as well. Lightly tart, dry finish. World class wild ale!

Hazy brown/amber in color with a khaki head. Very tart aroma that is similar to grape taffy with a bit of wood present, too. Tastes is tart with cherries, slight bit of wood, more grape taffy, and a long lasting tart finish. Thanks tyler!

Bottle. Pours with a light tan head that doesn’t last very long; orange ruby brown color that’s a bit murky. Rich sour fruit aromas, bit of woodiness, berries and light fruits as well. Darker flavor tones, but indeed nicely sour and acidic, but nowhere near a palate ripper. Bit of peach, berry, sour, lactic acid, toffee, and a tart finish. Medium body, not quite dry, but acidic. Very interesting brew, nice complexity and very well done.

Bottled 75cl. Absolutely mindblowingly fantastic. Underrated in my opinion. An incredible experience. Complex and extremely delicious. Reminiscence of lemon peel, horse blanket, vinegar, apricot and oak. A masterpiece.

(750ml bottle thanks to bu11zeye) clear rich red-brown with tan soapy bubbles. Nose of tart cherry, mildly acetic, tangerine and pipe tobacco. Taste of real cherries, pipe tobacco, woody, soft carbonation and a delicious finish.
