4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Churchkey’s Night of the Living Ales event. This one poured a dark copper color with a wispy off-white head. Aroma was funky apricots, with some brandy barrel character to it. A touch of tart, funky character, apricots and brandy is in there. A nice way to end the night at this funky sour-fest.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft at Churchkey. Deep purple walnut pour with bubbly film on the edges. Nose has hints of nice tart dark fruit and vinous acidity, but marred by veg diacetyl character. Butterscotch ruins all of the sour aspects. Thank god it mostly blows off after a couple minutes so still drinkable. Ok.

Dark brown pour with reddish hints. No head. Aroma of cherry, barnyard funk, vinegar, and caramel. Flavor is sweet upfront with caramel and cherry, but quickly turns to tartness with vinegar and funk tartness. Overall, a very nice beer!

Ruby brown hazy pour with a light brown head. Aroma is tart, sour cherries, dark fruit, malt, really nice tart complex nose. Flavor is the same. A little mouth puckering at first but then a good earthy dark fruit and cherry backbone. Nicely malty and sweet and tart. Good beer.
