Nice hoppy slightly coppery aroma. Pours a dark orange brown caramel with a tan head good lacing. Tastes of balanced hops, soapy sour with a short finish with coppery notes. Well made and drinkable

Clear amber color with small but lasting foam layer. Fresh flowery hop aromas. Watery taste with bitter and slight tartness and a tiny metallic finish, that trois dames have rather often, but this beer almost profits from it. Short slight bitter aftertaste. Nice light refreshing beer.

@collab brew with Unser Bier, Basel. Almost noseless Pale Ale, nevertheless good, aromatic drinkability, fruity hops on a lean, constistent malt base with a nice grapefruit bitter finish.

Hazy light amber with a medium off white head. Aroma had hints of hops, rubber and malt. Flavour was dry with fruity hops, rubber and hints of malt. Finished dry and bitter.

Draught @ Baran Café, Bergen
Pours slightly hazy copper/amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, orange, citrus, peach and pineapple. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a pineapple, orange and citrus finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at Baran. It’s a hazy dark golden beer with a dense, finger thick off-white head. The aroma has a little grassy, herbal note, but peaches and pineapple dominates. A faint malty touch too. Orange marmalade hints. It’s quite bitter on the palate, with some maltyness in the back. Pine cones and resins. Full body, dry and with a nice carbonation. Lasting bitter finish with pine cones, resins and some tropical fruits. Think this is my first from this brewery, I find no reason to comlain. 140616

Deep gold pour. Bread, malt, light florals, and a touch of grain. Light lingering bitterness. Very well balanced.

On tap @ Baran. This is a soft cloudy slightly deep goldenish looking one with a really good looking big lacing off-white head. Mild caramelly sweet toffee nose, there is even a little bit of cognac here. Doesn’t really smell like an IPA or pale ale, but i still kinda like it. Really lightdribkable this. Feels thin oily in the mouth and it’s just below average on the carbonation. Soft caramel with herbal hops and a little hint of clear diacetyl in the back. Absolutely easy to drink. but perhaps a bit easy? On the border of being to nice. 28.02.2014
