Hazy golden color, no head. The mouthfeel is a bit oily (expected with strong Sours), and it has a lingering vinegar note; there seem to be a tiny amount of residual sugar, and a shade of wood; mild sourness, and light fruity touch; lightly astringent in the end.
Pleasant.

From notes. Tasted on 6/30/12 at the 1st Annual Chimipalooza, from bottle. Pours clear orange with an average white head that leaves thin lace. The nose is all vinegar with some vanilla oak underlying. The flavor is has some malt sweetness up front, and light vanilla oak on the back, but is really all vinegar otherwise. The body is medium with a sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a long acetic vinegar finish.

"Cloudy golden pour - not sure what the base was. It’s long gone anyway. Heavy vinegar and dare I say diaper on the nose. Very tart, slightly carbonated feel. Very sour, loads of vinegar, while not unpleasant, is the only flavor. Pretty poor if aggressive example of one of my favorite styles."

Bottle. Pours nearly flat. Some crap left around the mouth of the bottle. No head, Lightly hazed deep golden hue. Aromas are of red wine, wood, plums, under ripe fruit, light oak, funky, sour, rotten citrus/tamarind, lacto. Flavors are quite acetic and estery. Burning vinegar and sweet fruit with fusel and ester (plums, apple). Some red wine notes, but acetic to the point that it is undrinkable. Light carbonation. Really pretty rough. Expensive drain pour. Disappointing.
