Light cloudy peach red color. Smells like raspberry flowers. Acidic raspberries blend into tart red wine. The flavor fades almost to nothing giving time to reflect on all the flavors it just dealt with.

Pours deep cranberry amber red with a big frothy pink head. Aroma brings wild funky yeast and tart covering some light berry notes. Flavor brings tart yeast and berries blended really would with just the right tartness settling on the palate.

bought at the Solothurner Biertage 2009 - pours a cloudy red-amber colour with no head retention; very aromatic aroma with strong notes of apples and raspberries; sourish and vinous; good malt body, moderate but regular carbonation, sweet and sour, very long raspberry aftertaste, sourish and quite long - one more marvelous brew from Raphael!

Draft at fourth Braustelle festival, poured by Raphael, thanks! Cloudy pink color, fluffy off white head. Aroma of dusty and funky berries, rose wine. Taste is softly sour fruit and sourdough bread. Delicious!

Bottle pour@4th Festival der Bierkulturen Köln 25/05/2013. More of a special season brew than a "saison" by any stretch, this beer has an almost geuze-like wild sour nose, more due to infused raspberry juice/wine? and red wine barrel lagering than wild fermentation per se. Juicy acidity is milder in the taste and well managed by both high-ish abv and astringent palate. Surprising additional bitter aftertaste. Gf’s fave, one of the standout expert brews at the festival in all.

Pours slightly cloudy big rocky head that collapses quickly. Pink hued light Amber in color. Lactic sour bread aroma with fruit accents. Sharp taste that softens as it warms becoming less carbonic. Grapefruit flavors. Still somewhat spritzy. Leather aromas. Obvious Brett action here. Wonderful.

Bottled 75cl. Medium to full bodied. Wonderful raspberries notes. Complex. Moderate sweetness. Great hop profile. There is quite a bite to this beer- nice astringence. Another very good beer from Trois Dames.

Bottled@omhper. Reddish amber colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is fruits, raspberries, some yeastyness and earthyness as well. Flavour is raspberries, some earth, mild eastyness as well as some mild caramel as well. Pleasantly balanced and nice.

Poured like liquid rose petals into my glass cupped in tender hands. A soft white collar reveals all her nose has to offer. Whole raspberries freshly picked sparkle in the light of my eye even as sunflowers sway in a gentle spring breeze. Their essence washes over me in a gentle calm while straw, grass, and golden hay glimmer under the warm summer sun. A kiss of citrus damp with dew and I am in farmhouse bliss. If I close my eyes, I am in Belgium surrounded by lands of harvest and bottles of ale. The Saison Framboise exudes the earth from which she was inspired, and I can’t wait to see how she tastes. The first sip is a supple wave of whole raspberries and raspberry puree with a tart puckering finish. Lemon skin lifts her fruity sweetness while dry grass, baled hay, and sunflower petals perfume my breath. Minutes long after each quaff, raspberries and cream dance and play. Amazing. A few more quaffs and she is a smooth remix of the above.

Drinking the Saison Framboise from Trois Dames was exactly like drinking of the earth from which she was inspired. A miracle in personifying the essence of terroir, I could easily drink this beer on a regular basis.
