75 cl bottle from Grains D’Orge, Moudon. pours copper, thick white head. aroma, fruity, reminded a lot of a white wine, fermented grapes, light pear nose. flavors, bitter palate with nice saison elements and a lingering enjoyable hop profile that complements the beer very well. Some lemon grass, mild spicy hops mouthfeel, touch of white grapes/ wine with champagne undertones. Finish is a bit dry with some fruit acidity and a very thin touch of malts. Interesting and tasty. 7-3-8-4-15

750, capped. Thanks, Dany! Pours a murky medium orange with a loose scattering of white head. Tart lemony nose with full-fledged yeasty spice, definitely showing a little tawny oxidation and the better for it. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Lemons, white pepper, tawny port, and some caramelly, earthy cereal notes. Not a perfectly harmonious combination, but certainly interesting, and they’re definitely not fighting each other. Pleasant and easy drinking. Lists at 7%.

750ml bottle at a tasting thanks to MartinT
Big time gusher...
Aroma : Nose herbal hops and rustic. A bit dusty and a bit tart. Wow I could smell this all day. It was a bit oxidized but it faded a bit with time.
Taste : Rustic with some esters. A bit tart. Some hops.
Overall : Very nice beer. Among the best Saisons I’ve had thus far. I really need to catch this one next time I see it. This one was not even top shape compared to what it can be (from what my fellow tasting partners said). What I liked the most was that little tart bite. Amazing stuff !

750 ml bottle thanks to Dany! Pours a hazy deep copper- bright orange with a nice fluffy cloudy head- Nice... Aroma is earthy, musty, crackery malts behind a nice floral and flowery hoppiness, some spicy hops, and light citrus notes as well - also some slight lime-zest? Flavor is slightly tart, earthy, spicy, peppery, citrus hops, lime zest, orange blossom honey, light sweetness, flowery earth hops, crisp clean malts and a slight tart finish keeps this easy drinking- finishes fairly dry as well. Nice!

Bottle from Paul. Aroma bursts with fresh flowers, tobacco, mint, rosemary, peppercorn. Everything I love about saison. Big, bright carbonation, with a flavor of guava, strawberry, horseblanket, some definite funk. A touch of sweetness in the flavor balances things out. Very nice!
