Notes from my backlog: Pours a murky copper with a tan ring of head. Sweet fruity aroma- figs, dried apricot simple. Rounded body. Fruity flavor as well with a light tartness. Green raisin, apricot, some minty undertones. Pretty unique. Similar to a Fantome.

Trübes bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, würzig. Geschmack hefig, fruchtig herb, getreidig, Gewürze.

Draft at the fourth Braustelle festival, thanks Raphael! Hazy amber color, medium white head. Aroma is fruity hay and straw. Taste is barnyard peaches. Nice.

Hopfig herber Antrunk, frisch. Im Mittelteil dumpfer, weich bitter, der Hopfen steigert sich. Getreidig, bitter, Kirschnoten. 11/11/12/11/11/11

Draft at blue monk. Golden orange pour. Fruity, floral yeastiness, light wet card. Tastes slightly old but good flavor. Very drinkable and enjoyable

Pours a very cloudy amber colour with mild white head that quickly disappears and leaves nothing. Aromas are sweet peach, yeast, citrus and grass. Taste is a light spicy bitterness, citrus, yeast and peach sweetness(syrup like). Could have had a lot more peppery spice for a saison.

Pours a cloudy copper orange color with a small white ring. Aroma is a huge citrus blast with lemon & fig in the background. Taste is is fruity sweetness up front with a light citrus & peppery bitterness on the finish. Good beer but not what I expect for a saison.

750 ml bottle. Pours a light yellow/brown with medium head. Light aromas of grass and lemon. Flavors of green apples and lemons. Where’s the hops? Nice fruit juice - not much beer. Saison - no. Cooler - yes.

Spectacularly hoppy nose bursting with citrus fruit, golden amber with a slight haze, vigorous carbonation, citrusy hops dominate the palate, with some sainson yeast spicy character trying to make its way underneath, long bitter finish, with some spicy, peppery notes. Great beer

Bottle, shared with Brian. Medium orange amber colour with a poorly retaining off white head. Aroma is quite fruity, sweet peach, some citrus. Flavour is sweet, approaching syrupy, which right away puts me off if you’re calling this a saison. I think the hop oils have faded here because there is weak citrus and stonefruits on the palate, but very little bitterness. The finish is brief and dry and gone. No spiciness or yeast character anywhere. This was just okay for me, but to be fair, I’m pretty sure it would be a totally different drinking experience if it were fresh.
