It sounded nice. Aroma of coffee. The flavour was burned with notes of sugar and caramel. Not very powerful. Rather boring really.

Deep brown beer with big, but fairly thin head. Roasted malty aroma with a fruity and chocolate sweet note. Flavor has a roasted maltyness and some sweetness, but overall this is a boring stout.

Another very lively beer from Troldhede - do they over carbonate them? A pitch black beer with a huge brown - but extremely fast disappearing head. The aroma is sweet and contains notes of barn yard, chocolate, roasted malt, as well as some fruity esters. The flavor is sweet and very roasted with coffee, alcohol, and brown sugar notes, leading to a dry slightly woody end. The mouthfeel is thin and quite carbonated.

Opaque black body with a low tan head that recedes to ring. Dry stout with some honey-like sweetness plenty of roastiness in the finish. Overcarbonated medium body. Bottle sampled at RBESG 2005.

(Bottle 50 cl) This beer really has an odd behaviour: when I removed the cap it was bubbling in the neck for a while then suddenly exploding out of the bottle pretty much flooding my table. Never really experienced anything like this.
Dark and cloudy with a fizzy head that vanishes quite fast. Marked alcohol in the nose. Lovely roasted flavour, but not really burned, sweetish with notes of licorice. Full-bodied with a warming alcohol. Huge yeasty sediment at the bottom. Nice brew. 090905

Boring Stout. I have hoped for more from a hand made beer. But I think I can find better stout - even at bigger breweries. Only positive is a good beer for cooking - though to expensive for this purpose. Please try again

Bottle. Almost black colour with a small baige head. Roasted sweet honey aroma and taste, light coffee. Medium body and a sweet finish.

Bottled at RBESG 2005. Hazy brown coloured with an off white head. Aroma of malts, grass and hops. Flavour of malts, grass and hops. Haven’t much to do with a stout.
