Bottle: Dark amber cherry, nose of smoke and caramel, smoky nutty flavor with light spice and fig. Not sure what chestnuts taste like but it’s sweet and chewy. Complex, toasty, earthy, nutty cloying tail and super spicy. Not worth the price.

Dec 9, 2008 Heavy spicy aroma. Huge, off-white head. Good lacing. Cloudy brown body. Light bitter flavor, spicy and chestnuts also. Medium palate.

Dec 7, 2008 Bottle pours out a nice brown topped with a small tan head. Aroma of hops and yeast. Tast of pit fruit and the yeast once again. Italy should just stuck to wine. Thanks BuckDich

Nov 28, 2008 Light brown and chunky. Not much head. Minty, nutty, lightly earthy, leafy aroma. Light nutty notes, minty accents. Fairly refreshing, with good maltiness. Balanced, complex character. Pretty cool stuff, actually.

Nov 28, 2008 Brewtopia bottle. Hazy with particles. Sweet, nutty aroma. Gorgeous already. Flavors include herbal nuances, hint of anise, and lovely flowers. A romantic beer and one to seek out again.
