COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Disponibile solo in bottiglia.

Clear light amber beer. Diminishing off-white head. Fruity aroma with smoke tones. Malts and yeast, some brett. Slight banana. Flavour malty sweet, slight sour touch. Some honey tone, smoke, caramel and apricot. Finish dry and somewhat tart.

Draught at a bar in Rome. Clear amber look, small white head. Clean medium smoked peat aroma along with fruity belgian yeast. Medium sweet fruity and sugery flavor, light alchoholic bitterness.

Corpo medio-basso, carbonazione soft. Abbastanza deludente, da riprovare sicuramente.

Bottle from Domus Birrae, Rome. Pours clear amber with a big creamy white head. Aroma of smoked wood and campfire. Taste is more maltoriented, with the smoke not well incorporated, too sharp and oaky towards the end.

Troll. Some would say I should be an expert on their beers, but I beg to differ. I don’t live under a damned bridge. On tap at Bir & Fud. Mostly clear golden in color with a thick one-finger white head. Very smoky ham sandwich on the aroma with some sweet malts and honey behind that. The flavor also has that ham sammich taste you crave, with medium intensity, along with pale malt and sugar/honey sweetness. Medium-bodied and not at all boozy with average carbonation. Solid attempt at the style overall.

Hazy amber beer. Small white head. Made with peated malt. Soft dry palate. Peaty whiskeyish malt underpinned by sweet peach and banana fruit notes. Very dry finish. Unusual and quite drinkable.

Tap at Bir&Fud. The final beer from a beer journey of a lifetime. Unfortunately, it sucked. But thankfully it is very difficult to find a bad beer from Ma Che or Bir&Fud. Nearly impossible.

The pour is a hazed orange with a dense, small, white head. Sticky lace. Aroma is barely smoky, more full of orange candies, honey, and ham. Taste is cloyingly sweet, orange candies, syrup, lemon, light smoke. Sugary sweet, tart. Viscous on the palate.

It’s not my favourite smoked beer, but I appreciate its honey sensation and the less smoked fragrance, which is not too much accentuated. Typical winter beer due to its alcoholic graduation and complexity. Pleasant to drink in front of a pizza.
