Bottle 500ml @ home
Pours hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, floral and grass. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a slightly malty, grainy and yeasty finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft

Bottle from the supermarket in Geiranger. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt, hay, light floral hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a citrus, acid, light pepper spice palate and a short bitter finish. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. I really don’t get the low ratings at all. Maybe a bad batch? It’s no conventional Golden Ale, but it has plenty of different flavours and sensations and it’s very refreshing. I don’t consider this to be flawed at all.... just a little different. I’d buy this again.

My Bottom Line:
Toasted honey and floral hops meet in this very drinkable brew.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam surrounds the misty blond.
-Lightly oxidized pils malts make the toast character jump out, just like in many Lithuanian Sviesus brews.
-The flavor profile is balanced throughout.
-Hop bitterness is moderate.

Bottle.

A really disapointing beer from Trollbryggeriet. The looks of the beer is very nice, hazy honny color with a dense white head. The smell is of cerial mix, some slight smoke and dusty belgian yeast notes. However, the flavour is dominated by a sweetness from the malt that masks moss of the other flavours. Short lived aftertaset. In total, this beer comes of as a unbalanced brew with too much sweetness.
