Draught @ Trondhjem Mikrobryggeri, Trondheim
Pours clear deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, orange, citrus, peach and hint of caramel and pine. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium bitter with a long slightly malty and citrus fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewpub. A crystal clear dark golden beer with a finger thick light beige head. The aroma is fruity, with a candy touch and orange zest. Some pale malts. There’s a fine bitterness in the flavor, else I find it too gentle. Orange zest and pine cones, and some pale malts and sweetness. Medium to full body, a tad much carbonation. Dry. Bitter, fruity finish. As most of the Trondhjem beers I’ve had so far, this one too is too gentle. Slides down without resistance though. 140621

On tap at the brewpub. Hazy amber body with a thin white foamy/creamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with flowery and citrusy hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries citrusy and herbal notes. Ends with a good bitter finish. Enjoyable.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
10cl sample at the brewery. A bit pale for an IPA. Small white head. The aroma is just like an IPA should smell like. Hops and tropical fruits. Simcoe is used as an aroma hop and you can tell. Flavour is moderately bitter yet with some sweet notes as well. The aroma is slightly better than the flavour. It could use some more hops. Medium long aftertaste.
